Remarks:
Elegance has a name: “Retrovid”. This is the third of three newly launched binoculars in “retro-look” design by Leica, the other two being a 7×35 and a 8×40 model (see separate posts, https://binocular.ch/leica-trinovid-7×35-2019-retrovid/, and https://binocular.ch/leica-trinovid-8×40-2019-retrovid/). Externally, they are almost exact clones of the iconic Leitz roof binoculars from the 1960s/1970s. But they come with modern, high quality optics, and performance is overall competitive with modern upmarket binoculars.
