Remarks:
Without much fuss, Nikon recently updated its Sportstar EX pocket binocular with a “II” version. Keeping all the positive characteristics of the previous version (see separate post, https://binocular.ch/nikon-sportstar-ex-8×25/), the new model, available in sizes 8×25 and 10×25, underwent just a subtle upgrade: new ripped rubber armour, eyecups now with an intermediate clickstop, redesigned bridge with focus wheel moved forward, improved AR coatings, and a very slightly larger field of view (8.3 instead of 8.2 degrees). The Sportstar EX II 8×25 has now the widest FOV in its class and represents excellent value for money in our opinion.
