Remarks:
This the third model in this collection of the newly launched “Vienna” binocular series under the Voigtländer brand (see the other two here https://binocular.ch/voigtlander-vienna-8×42-apo/ and here https://binocular.ch/voigtlander-vienna-8×25-apo/), and it confirms the excellent impression obtained on the larger 8×42 and the smaller 8×25 models. Being able to compare three different models allows us to confirm not only the mechanically and optically very good performance for the price, but also the impeccable quality control apparently applied at the manufacturing location. In all three models, the “0” sign of the diopter adjustment marks exactly “0 dpt”, a detail not even some premium manufacturers have been able to achieve in recent years. In our eyes, the image has been very evenly corrected, which provides a very comfortable viewing experience. It will be interesting to see whether the “Vienna” series remains an “insider tip” – currently, almost knobody we meet has ever heard of it – or whether it will become a larger success in the market, which in our eyes it would deserve.
