Remarks:
This is a much improved version of the previous CL Companion, improved in almost every respect, with better eye relief, more field of view, better transmission, more central sharpness/contrast and a much improved off-axis sharpness. The new CL Companion is now a very attractive binocular that competes well against other compact 8×30 instruments. The only slight criticism would concern the odd design of the diopter adjustment mechanism, which needs some „getting used to“.
