Remarks:

“A large aperture, together with a magnification that can still be used in handheld mode, with ideally a wide angle of view and high edge sharpness. The 10×50 Fujinon FMT-SX2 which combines all the properties and, on top of that, has excellent anti-reflection coatings, already enjoys cult status among hobby astronomers” (tentative translation of: H. Merlitz, Handferngläser 2nd ed., p. 173). Nothing further to be said. It is now only available in the version with rubber armour, named FMTR-SX2.
