Remarks:

This is the “entry level model” in the series of high quality FMT porro binoculars made by Fujinon, series which consists of the following: 7×50, 10×50, 10×70, 16×70. Produced to marine specs, you find them mostly in the hands of hobby astronomers, life guards, surveillance officers, etc. The 7×50 model with its large exit pupil is ideal for starfield sweeping under very dark skies and shares the excellent performance characteristics of the famous 10×50 model (see separate post “Fujinon 10×50 FMT-SX2”, https://binocular.ch/fujinon-10×50-fmt-sx2/). Like the 10×50, it is now only available in the rubber-armoured version, named FMTR-SX2.
