Remarks:

In 2020, Swariovski stopped producing its 8×42 and 10×42 SLC binoculars, which was sad for many SLC enthusiasts. But its subsidiary, Kahles Gesellschaft  m.b.H. of Austria, at the same time added a Kahles Helia “S” line of binoculars to its product portfolio. Just a brief glance at the Helia S reveals: this is the former 8×42/10×42 Swarovski SLC in a slightly modified outfit! An extended comparison confirms that finding. The Helia S has all the mechanical and performance characteristics of the SLC.
