Remarks:

Like its “sibling”, the Maven B.2 11×45 (see https://binocular.ch/maven-b2-11×45/), the 9×45 model offers very good value for money (which, by the way, is also true for the oder Maven models in this collection , the 8×42 and 10×50, see https://binocular.ch/macen-b1-2-8×42/ resp. https://binocular.ch/maven-b-6-10×50/). The excellent correction of chromatic aberration (a step up from the 11×45), good sharpness and contrast, respectable field of view, very good close focus, ample eye relief and smooth and precise focus mechanism makes the 9×45 a joy to use. You have to get used to the weight, though; this is not a lightweight bino, despite the use of Magnesium for the body of the instrument. Maven specifies the use of Abbe-König prisms and claims an excellent 93.7% transmission, without specifying for which range of frequencies this is valid; but the good color fidelity would indicate that the transmission curve should be relatively flat.
