The Nikon Action EX series is a line of lower middle class porro binoculars with models in sizes 7×35, 7×50, 8×40, 12×50, and 16×50. They provide a very satisfactory performance for a relatively low price. BINOCULARS TODAY tends to recommend them to people who are looking for binolars with a decent performance, but who don’t want to spend much for them (Nikon’s Aculon series – see separate post “Nikon Aculon A211 7×35”, https://binocular.ch/nikon-aculon-a211-7×35/ – would be even cheaper, but is mechanically and optically inferior to the Action EX). The 10×50 and 7×35 models are the most popular of the series.
