The various Aculon models from Nikon resemble in many ways Nikon’s “Action EX” line of binoculars, but in BINOCULARS TODAY’S experience are optically and mechanically inferior. On the other hand, they cost less and may therefore be the choice of buyers with a limited budget or be used as an “always in the glovebox” binocular that doesn’t bankrupt the owner in case it gets damaged or stolen.
