Remarks:

The Monarch M7 comes in  four sizes – 8×30, 10×30, 8×42 and 10×42 – and in 2021 replaced the “Nikon Monarch 7” previously on the market (as the new Monarch M5 replaced the previous model “Nikon Monarch 5”). Placed clearly below the top model “Monarch HG” and priced over 30% lower than that one, the Monarch M7 impresses with a large field of view and good optical and mechanical properties (the somewhat flimsy diopter adjustment ring being the exception). Its optical characteristics (except for the wider FOV) are similar to the previous Monarch 7 model; good and robust upper middle class binocular without any obvious flaws at an attractive price.
