Swarovski has produced several generations of the SLC series over the years. The current series consists of five models, two x42s and three x56s, all with excellent optical performance. The 10×56, like its 8×56 and 15×56 siblings, have gained a good reputation not only with birders and hunters, but are also popular with hobby astronomers. They don’t feature the very flat field images of  Swarovski’s top line, the EL SV, but exhibit very good central and edge sharpness, good contrast and very good CA correction, and are currently one of the best 10x56s on the market.
