Remarks:

Swarovski has produced several generations of the SLC series over the years. After it stopped selling the x42 models in 2020, the current series consists of three models, 8×56 / 10×56 / 15×56, all with excellent optical performance. All three have gained a good reputation not only with birders and hunters, but are also popular with hobby astronomers. They don’t feature the very flat field images of  Swarovski’s top lines, the NL Pure or the EL SV, but exhibit very good central and edge sharpness, good contrast and very good CA correction, and are currently some of the best x56s on the market.
