Remarks:
The 7×42 Dialyt, often named “Classic”, used to be one of the most highly regarded birding binoculars, even after the fabulous Zeiss Victory FL 7×42 (see separate post, https://binocular.ch/zeiss-victory-fl-7×42/) came out (which in BINOCULARS TODAY’s view is perhaps the best 7×42 ever built). The Dialyt was particularly applauded for its bright image, wide field of view and its light weight, beside its wonderfully classical design. Today, there still is a very active second hand market for this instrument.
