Remarks:
Many rate the Victory FL line of binoculars among the best Zeiss has ever built, and the 7×42 model has been particularly popular. Today, about eight years after its production was stopped, the 7×42 FL is still being frequently purchased on the second hand markets by avid birders who like the combination of a bright contrasty image, excellent CA correction and a wide field of view. BINOCULARS TODAY regards the 7×42 FL as perhaps the best 7×42 binocular ever made.
