One of the very few premium 7×42 binoculars! After the disappearance of the Zeiss Victory FL 7×42 (see separate post), the Leica Ultravid 7×42 in its latest configuration “HD+” takes top place among the currently available 7×42 binoculars. It is not the leader in every optical or mechanical discipline, but the sum of its qualities makes it one of our favourite allround handheld binoculars on the market. A strong competitor would be the Nikon EDG 7×42, see separate post.
