Remarks:
This marine binocular sold by German company Minox offers not only a digital compass, but also displays a reticule, tilt angle, barometric pressure, temperature, and a timer, all as digital functions displayed in the lower part of the image; the operation requires a bit of getting used to. Its optics are satisfactory, but don’t match the sharpness and wide field of view of other good marine binos, e.g. the Steiner Commander 7×50. There is ample eye relief, but the eyecups cannot be extended far enough so that there is a risk of “kidney beaning” for non-spectacle-wearers.
