Remarks:

You would have a hard time finding things to criticize about the Nikon HG-L. Beside its relatively narrow field of view and its  high weight, there is not much wrong with this fine classic roof prism binocular from Nikon, the predecessor of the current Nikon Monarch HG (see separate posts about “Nikon Monarch HG” 10×42, 8×42 and 8×30). Superb finish, excellent build quality and very nice optical performance are its key characteristics.
