Remarks:
The “little Commander” looks and feels like a small edition of the famous Steiner marine binocular (see separate post “Steiner Commander 7×50 XP”, https://binocular.ch/steiner-commander-7×50-xp/). It delivers nice performance – not as good as the “big” 7×50 Commander, in particular, stray-light suppression is only satisfactory and edge sharpness is well below that of the 7×50 model, but this 7×30 provides really good central sharpness, has excellent ergonomics and is very compact and lightweight.
