Remarks:
The Vixen Ultima 8×32, currently not produced anymore, was regarded by many as a less expensive alternative to the Nikon E II and was a bit similar in appearance and haptics. However, it did clearly not reach the mechanical and optical quality of the Nikon and was rather a decent middle class porro instrument, lightweight and with a nicely sized field of view, but an unsatisfactory edge sharpness.
