Remarks:

Zeiss has been selling 7×50 Porro binoculars in various configurations for many decades (see e.g. separate post “Zeiss 7×50 B”, https://binocular.ch/zeiss-7×50-b/ ). This BGA/T* was the latest model, promoted as a specialty / marine binocular, solid like a tank, heavily rubber armoured, with truly excellent optics and mechanics, a trusted instrument for professionals and a favourite among collectors of classic Porro binoculars. Production was discontinued in 2017.
