Remarks:
Like its larger “brother” (see sparate post “Kowa Genesis 8.5×44” https://binocular.ch/kowa-genesis-xd-8-5×44/), the 8×33 Genesis belongs pricewise to the upper middle class, but delivers top performance in this market segment: Well controlled chromatic aberration, a wide field of view – off-axis sharpness could be a bit better -, and a bright image with good contrast make this compact bino a fine instrument. Transmission of the focus mechanism is fast, the mechanism works smoothly and precisely.
