Remarks:

This is simply a rebranded version of the Docter Compact 8×21 (Noblex took over the Docter binoculars business in 2018). Clearly larger than other pocket binoculars such as e.g. the Leica Trinovid 8×20 or Ultravid 8×20, but still foldable with its double hinge design, the Docter Compact has been improved several times since it came out many years ago. It is now fully waterproof and offers a large field of view and an overall good optical performance, is well built (eyecups with real clickstops are rare in this size of instruments) and provides a good “ease of view”.

Noblex had shut down its binocular production in October 2020, but since then, a limited number of new models has become available; BINOCULARS TODAY doesn’t know where these are made.
